Terminal 5 fall out: two British Airways staff members gone

My heart goes out to Gareth Kirwood and David Noyes of British Airways. According to e-tid.com (registration required) and a statement from BA they have left their roles of Director of Operations and Director of Customer Services respectively "follow[ing] the airline's move to Terminal 5". The hunt is on for a COO to replace the two. T5 was a bad launch for customers but also one for BA staff.

T5 opening would have been their biggest gig. They failed it, failed customers and damaged the brand. I suspect had this been a Qantas issue your heart wouldn't have gone out to two senior senior executives who failed in their prinicple duties.
