Our belief at Kango.com is that the further up the funnel you go (away from booking and more toward planning) the less the industry has addressed the needs of consumers (yet). This makes a lot of sense since everyone is focused on monetization. Also, as people focus on more unique preferences (taste, lifestyle, etc.) travel becomes more and more of a long-tail game, with lots of fragmentation based on consumer preferences, not just price and destination. We've done some consumer research and based on that, would probably reverse your Phase 3 and Phase 4, with the "too much information" phase starting already! Best regards, and lets keep the dialogue going!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29875741.post-91788046413577962952007-08-28T19:55:00.000+10:002007-08-28T19:55:00.000+10:00Tim, I was stuck in Singapore and missed the confe...Tim, I was stuck in Singapore and missed the conference - so I really enjoyed reading your highlights. I can spend the money I saved on the event on my SEM campaign instead.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
